The typical duration is 12 weeks but can be extended to 20 weeks in some cases.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is IOP?

IOP serves as a step-down from residential care or a step-up from traditional therapy, preventing relapse and providing a strong support network for those needing more than weekly sessions but not 24-hour supervision. Unlike residential care, attendees do not stay overnight at a health facility while in an IOP.

Our IOP is designed to provide comprehensive and effective care to individuals struggling with mental health conditions in a supportive and compassionate environment. It suits people who have work, family or other responsibilities and require greater flexibility while undergoing care.

Yes, we accept most major insurance providers. Contact our admissions team who will verify your insurance. The process involves confirming that your provider and plan cover the cost of IOP. We will give you a clear financial breakdown, including if there are additional costs.

We offer the program 3 days a week for 3 hours a day. The typical duration of our IOP is 12 weeks but can be extended to 20 weeks in some cases.

Our program is overseen by our Medical Director, who is a board-certified psychiatrist and who specializes in the treatment of mental health disorders. All of our IOP team are licensed medical professionals with deep experience treating mental health disorders.

We treat a range of mental health disorders, including: depression, anxiety, ADHD, PTSD, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and eating disorders. Contact us with any questions about treating a mental health disorder you have.

We use a combination of evidence-based therapies, Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) when necessary, and wellness activities. The therapies we have include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Family Therapy, Trauma-Specific Therapy, and Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART).

The primary benefit is the ability to practice real-world coping skills immediately while attending therapy several hours a week. IOP also builds program attendees’ confidence and autonomy as they recover. They can access support from their personal networks and continue work/study or other responsibilities while receiving essential support.
